Public Speaking Skills

Public Speaking - Developing as a Speaker

Mastering Public Speaking can be the making of a career. Find yourself a good coach, attend a good public speaking course.

Public Speaking Development

Get help

Any form of Public Speaking experience will help your development, however as you start to gain experience you will find that a professional eye will begin to be helpful

You can attend public speaking courses, but you need to be careful in selecting which ones.

Go with someone who has a good track record and will give you the name of someone who has experienced their training.

Find a course that has six or fewer people attending.

Paradoxically a course that focuses on developing what you are already good at is likely to be more productive than a more proscriptive "how to" course.

Finally do the course a short while before a public speaking engagement as this serves to focus the mind somewhat!
